1. Grab an Ethernet cable to connect your home modem to the Linksys extender.
2. Once that is done, now download and install the Linksys app on your phone or in your computer system.
3. Open the wifi connection settings.
4. The default network SSID’s are mentioned on the bottom of your Linksys; connect to that.
5. Open the app, and a login page will flash with an option called ‘Login with your router password’.
6. Login there, configure and customize as you want. Set the SSID’s of your new extended network by personalizing your network under an option called ‘Wireless settings’

1. Plugin the Linksys range extender in a power socket that comes under the signal circumference of your home router.
2. Press the WPS button on the extender.
3. Check for the WPS LED indicator light on the Linksys range extender. It should be blinking.
4. Within two minutes, press the WPS button of your home router.
5. Now, the LED indicator of your range extender must have been turned solid green. This means that the configuration has been completed.
6. Now you may relocate the extender as you wish but keep it in the range of your home router.

The network name of your Linksys extender is ‘Linksys extender setup – xxx’ (xxx represents the last three digits of the MAC address you are on. Connect to that for further configuration.
