Twitch streamer Shroud explains how he became so popular
Michael “shroud” Grzesiek is one of the most well-known streamers in the world. During his Twitch live show on October 16, he explained how he got to the highest point.
Shroud is a Twitch user with a large following. Thousands of viewers tune in to his YouTube channel on a regular basis to see him combat opponents in games like PUBG and Apex Legends, or grind through dungeons in World of Warcraft Classic.

When asked what made him so famous on Twitch, the Canadian provided a sincere reply, going into his personal history to explain his huge success.

“I started out as a streamer, but after becoming a Counter-Strike fan, I became completely enamoured with the game. I joined Counter-Strike and quickly rose through the ranks, and as my skills developed and increased, people began to recognise me as a player. After that, I joined a professional team and played in tournaments. Finally, I had a following that I was able to retain. It’s as simple as that.”
Shroud feels that his time as a professional Counter-Strike player laid the groundwork for his streaming success, but that due to his ability in the battle royale game, the majority of his rapid progress occurred after his retirement.
